Standard Guardian
lockers build upon the design features of the Vanguard series with
several enhancements that give it a distinctive look and enable
quieter operation.
Our new one-piece deep drawn Classic III stainless steel recessed handle is part of every Guardian. It eliminates protrusions from the locker front and accepts locks. There are 21 standard colors from which to choose, with body parts painted to match the doors. The 16 gauge door front has a solid exterior, aiding quiet operation. In addition to rubber bumpers on all latch hooks, the latch channel is silenced by unique guides. Ventilation is achieved by slots in the top and bottom flanges of the door. Also available on the Guardian lockers is a sound dampening panel that is welded to the door. This is the "Medallion" option. For those who need the extra strength, a 14 gauge steel door option is offered, ideally suited for corridor use where it is likely to encounter harsher than normal usage. This is the "Guardian Plus " option. Defiant II Single Point Latch The Defiant II Single Point Latch option for Guardian 1, 2 & 3 tier lockers is for those desiring a heavy gauge door offering improved security with low maintenance inherent in a door with no moving parts. Each door has a patented deep drawn stainless steel pocket handle with an integral door pull. If desired, louvers may be added to the door front. Defiant doors have continuous hinges. As with all Penco lockers, the Guardian accepts the full range of Penco locker accessories, such as closed bases, slope tops, finished ends and trim. |
